About me

Photographer from Berlin

Portrait of Tom Wolff

Hey, I am Tom

I am a photographer from Berlin. I mostly shoot cosplay and fantasy, all those moments when an idea turns into a story. For some time now, wildlife has been joining in more and more, out in nature, with a lot of waiting for that one right moment.

What matters to me is that a shoot feels like collaboration and not like an obligation. We talk through ideas, costume and location beforehand, and during the shoot I take time to experiment. In the end, the pictures should mean more than just a photo to both of us.

I shoot exclusively on a TFP basis (see below). If you like my pictures and are up for a shared project, feel free to get in touch.

How a shoot works

  1. Contact: Tell me briefly what you have in mind: character, idea, preferred time. Feel free to add a few sample pictures or inspiration.
  2. Planning: We clarify concept, outfit, location and date and agree on what we both imagine for the pictures.
  3. Shoot: We meet, I guide you if needed and we take time to experiment. Breaks are always fine.
  4. Selection: After the shoot I make the pictures available in your personal area. There you mark your favorites with a heart and can leave comments.
  5. Editing and delivery: I edit your favorites, you can download them in your area and still send back change requests.

What does TFP mean?

TFP stands for "Time for Prints": we trade time for pictures. Neither of us pays money, both invest time and skill, and both receive images.

  • I shoot exclusively on a TFP basis, so no fee is due.
  • You receive the edited images for your use, for example on social media. We agree on the details beforehand.
  • I show the pictures in my portfolio if you agree.
  • Costs for costume, travel and the like are covered by each side.
